Released back in '07 I think, but this is a sick chill rap song. I'm definitely going to look into what else they have:
2. Frost - Dead Robot Ft. Charlotte Haining, Chillstep
Awesome chill dubstep song. Not really too much else to say other than it's good:
3. Urban Aurora - CJYK, Electronic
Solid uplifting complextro song. Probably my favorite genre of music at this point in time, so expect a lot of songs like this one:
4. Firefaces - Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Jaz Von D Ft. Jack Miz, Electro-House
Huge electro-house anthem preview. I really like the vocals and the build; the drop isn't my favorite though. A little different than usual house anthem drops, but it may grow on me. Decide for yourself:
5. Around Us (Chainsmokers Remix) - Jonsi, Electro-House
Amazing remix, super chill yet packed with energy. Check it out:
Sorry for being late yet again. Work is starting to pile up. I was going to try and be consistent with posts on Tuesdays, but it's looking like it'll be whenever I can get to them. There should be at least one per week though, so keep checking in. Here's another speed version since I'm a little behind on work and stuff.
1. I Remember (Mr. FijiWiji Ft. Laura Brehm Remix) - Deadmau5 & Kaskade
2. Torque - Fonik
3. Presence - Paris Blohm Ft. Angel Taylor
4. Desire - Aperio
5. Singularity - Au5
6. Idols(EDM Mashup) - Virtual Riot
7. I'm Alive - Z-Ro
8. Dark Side of Me - Coheed and Cambria
9. Surrender the Night - My Chemical Romance
10. Major Distribution - 50 Cent Ft. Snoop Dogg & Young Jeezy
Hope you enjoyed! Keep checking for more music and promote my blog if you like the music! Also, if you have any requests for songs to be put on here or you're an artist that wants me to promote your music send me an email: mseller@umich.edu. Thanks!
Sorry this week's post is a day late. I've been busy with work this week, so taking the time to do my weekly music research has been my last priority. But, hopefully I've found some songs you'll like. I'm going to do another quick version this week (ie. title, artist, genre) just to save time. Enjoy!
Hey everyone, sorry for the late post time. I had some homework that I had to finish and then got distracted by the Blackhawks game! It's looking like there's a ton of new music this week though, so we should have some great songs to listen to.
First up, we have Rockie Fresh's new mixtape 'Electric Highway' featuring some great songs. I posted 'Life Long' Ft. Rick Ross & Nipsey Hussle last week, and this mixtape has some other huge hits. I haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but I can tell it's pretty dope:
Next up, we have a new free remix from Vicetone of Doctor P's 'Bulletproof' Ft. Eva Simons. I've become a huge fan of Vicetone and the duo has hit gold again here:
Here's a sick new song by ak9 called 'New Life'. It sounds a lot like something that Seven Lions would put out. It's a chill dubstep song that you can relax to or do work to. Check it out:
This is a solid D'n'B song that came out last year called 'Unstoppable' by Ayah Marar. The video is a little interesting, but the song is pretty energizing. Listen here:
Straight from thissongissick.com, I'm bringing you a remix of The Killers' 'Miss Atomic Bomb' by Maor Levi. It's an awesome house mix of the song that makes the most out of the original's melody:
Hadouken! is an awesome electronic/house band. This is their new single 'Levitate' that is filled with bass. You definitely need to check out their other stuff when you get the chance:
Feed Me is one of my favorite complextro/electro-house artists. He's signed on Deadmau5's record label Mau5trap and he puts out some sick stuff. This is one of his newest called 'Death By Robot' featured on UKF Music's YouTube channel:
This is a sick dubstep remix of 'Earthquake' by Little Boots. The remix is from Fytch who throws in some solid modulated bass to spruce up this song. I love the vocals in this one. The song was released awhile back but I just stumbled upon it today. Take a listen:
I don't know anything about this artist, Razihel, but this song 'Falcon Punch' is pretty sick. It's a new complextro song which is a genre that I think is awesome. If anyone is into music production and wants to give me some lessons, let me know! Here's the song though:
To finish off I have a gem I found last week. It's the Kill Paris Remix of Anita Ward's 'Ring My Bell'. It's such a catchy tune, mainly due to the repeated vocal line. I'll be honest, you might not like it the first time through, but it will grow on you:
Hope you enjoyed this week's music. Keep checking back for more during the week and please promote my blog by telling your friends about it if you like it! It would help me out a lot! Thanks!
