On Repeat Week 5

Week 5 is here. I've been doing some serious work trying to find the best songs for you all. I have so many to choose from, but I want everyone to keep checking in for post updates. I have decided to try and put up more songs midweek, but maintain the mass song-flow on Tuesdays. I am also going to try and find download links for songs starting next week. Hopefully, allowing you to download songs directly from my blog will make things a little easier for you all! Make sure you check out the other On Repeat posts as well!

First up we have a straight club banger from David Guetta Ft. Nicky Romero. It's called 'Metropolis'. This one will definitely get you on your feet. I'm not exactly sure when it was released, but I just found it on YouTube a couple days ago. Check it out:

 

Next, we have a song called 'Compton' off of Kendrick Lamar's new album. If you haven't heard his stuff, definitely do some listening. The album called 'good kid, m.A.A.d. city' has some pretty chill songs. 'Poetic Justice' Ft. Drake is the most popular song on the album at this point, but the album has a lot to offer:

This song by Kenny Chesney came out awhile back, but I just heard it for the first time the other day. It's probably not new to any country fans, but the lyrics hit home with me. It's called 'Reality', and the song is about escaping the day-to-day grind. If you're in college, you know what I mean:

Cisco Adler has just released his new album 'Aloha'. The album has a really chill, reggae sound to it that makes you wish you were at the beach. I definitely recommend listening to the whole album. A couple of my favorites are 'Boom Boom Boom' and 'Tha Good Life'. This song, 'Classic', follows suit with the chill feeling:

'Let's Go Home' by Carousel is a soft, chill song. This remix by Sound Remedy maintains the soft feeling, but they add a little of their flavor to spice it up a bit. It is a great electronic remix of an excellent alternative song:

Finally, we have an unusual combination of artists - Steve Aoki, Lil' Jon, and Chiddy Bang - collaborating on an electro-hip-hop track called 'Emergency'. I saw the video for this song on YouTube a couple days ago, and I couldn't help but put it on here. It's not the greatest song ever, but the video is pretty funny:
